Watercolour and pen painting painted on khadi paper 130g which is a little fine for watercolour so needed technique adapting and some time spent. I applied the colour and let it dry overnight before adding fine detail.
One only part of a collection of miniatures by artist Morgan Fitzsimons an international wild life and fantasy artist.
This Go Wild Collection was created to promote planet awareness and the beauty of our endangered natural environment. It is is the basis for creativity
It includes the Go Wild Imagine Collection, showing my basis of creative inspiration extends from nature into the realms of my fantasy characters and stories, colouring my dreams from which come all things new.
Each subject is different and the paper is different, both created by hand. The paintings are made with brush and pen, watercolour and gouache, the papers gathered from people in different parts of the world preserving the old ways of making paper with as little damage to the environment as possible.
All rights retained by the artist. No rights are transferred with this purchase.
The image can be mounted on a background paper to show the deckle edge, or behind a natural coloured mount to fit a standard frame size to stand on a desk or hang on a wall in a group or you can collect in a post card collecting book or in a special journal you create yourself.
